New Crib

While I'm waiting to upload Paris pics from the weekend - here are some of Ber's new bed. It's supposed to grow with her so that eventually you can take the sides off, lower the mattress and have a normal toddler bed.
We're excited that she's out of the pack and play!
She wasn't feeling too good at the time of these pictures but she has made a full recovery and is doing much better these days - phew!
The picture with her name is one that I did for her bedroom.

Crocs and Smocks

I fell in love with these little smock tops while we were living in Paris. It seems all the little Parisian girls where them and they always look cute. The few that I bought even before she was born are now starting to get a little snug around the middle - so I had to pull out the camera before we pack them away!

Spring has Sprung . . .

. . . or so we're hoping!
We sat out on the balcony the other day to enjoy the sunshine and a little bit of warmth.
Bers busied herself chewing on the giraffe (still no teeth - but lots of drool) and I busied myself with closing my eyes - mmm.

You may also notice the new background - that's also part of our new spring look.

Next is spring cleaning, right? Yeah, well, I'm opting for spring break first! Wednesday Analise and I leave for Paris and Daniel joins us Friday for the weekend. We'll meet up with my brother Andy and his wife Jenn and then come back to Switzerland for some time together and little European vacation for them. We're really looking forward to it!

Bers and Grades

A few nights ago we were sitting around watching the dog and kid . . . normal entertainment for the evening . . . when all of a sudden Grady came over and laid his head on Analise's lap.
I kid you not!
We were so surprised!
Daniel immediately got down on the floor to encourage good behavior - a couple times Analise was trying to chew on his ear.


Maybe she was just as surprised as we were to have her brother come lay by her.









"Ummm, he's licking me and I don't like that . . . "




As a side note, I love the outfit she is wearing. Beth and I were talking about how much we love overalls on kids and these are super cute! They are hand me downs from an "Anna Lisa" at our church!

This Week . . .

This week I've been a little delinquent about posting . . . sorry grandmas and grandpas!
But I will say that I've been doing plenty of reading. First, I've been reading BLOGS! I love them and am getting more and more addicted. I love my friend's blogs and am glad I have such interesting and enthusiastic people to follow. You inspire me ladies - I love you!
I've also been reading other people's blogs - arts, crafts, babies, yoga, books, organics, and of course FOOD. Whatever the passion is - blog about it.
And lastly, I've been reading about Kindermusik. I'm in the process of getting Kindermusik certification so that I can begin teaching baby music classes. I have located a dance studio to rent and am getting ready to begin teaching after Easter! Yeah for learning!
Ok, gotta run, I left the little one sleeping in the stroller out in the sunshine (yes, sunshine - is anyone jealous?) - and she is calling.
So keep the blogs coming - we love the updates! If anyone has any other favorites please feel free to send them to me. Don't worry, I'm not THAT addicted . . .
