Walking!

This week Analise has been walking more and more. While she still prefers holding onto a finger - she is pretty solid on her own. After taking her coat off at a friends house she actually walked away from me! (Then fell when she realized what was happening).

Grape Seed Spitting

Lunch time is not always so hilarious - but today we had grapes - let me explain the connection. Most of the grapes here have seeds, so for Analise I fish them out before giving them to her, but for myself I just spit them out as I eat one. Well, one spit was all it took and then . . . watch out . . .

The Robot

I debated whether or not to share this video because I was trying to decide if it's "funny ha-ha" or "funny uh-oh" . . . and it's kind of both.
One morning she starting laughing so hard at my rendition of a robot pictured in her book. I was laughing so hard just at her laughing and we were having a good time in general. Then we went down for breakfast and later came back upstairs and found the book again, still open to the robot page. She immediately started pointing at the robot and wanting me to "do it." So I grabbed the camera this time. Well, long story short . . . full breakfast belly combined with a belly laugh leads to a) hiccups and b) oopsies! So there's the story and you can decide if it's "funny ha-ha" or "funny uh-oh" - I just hope no one else loses their breakfast!

In the drawer

someone had a busy morning! But even after turning off the video I didn't have the heart to take her out - she was just playing so nicely and it gave me a few extra minutes to finish morning devotions (sadly a rare occurrence)!

" Thaaaaaank . . . You!"

The drive from South Dakota to Wisconsin was a little under eight hours but let me tell you, we were counting minutes!
Daniel had the flu bug and wasn't feeling well at all and by the end of the trip Analise had had just about enough of her seat too.
You have to listen carefully - but we're pretty sure she says it!
