coffee in Salzburg

We stayed at the Sacher Hotel for a few nights and what a treat! It's so beautiful . . . kind of reminds me of Sun Valley!Reading a story . . .

The Muellers enjoying a coffee while the rest of the family was at church on Sunday morning. You can't believe how well a little girl's squeals echo in a huge stone cathedral! (groan)
Remarkably well.
So we heard a little of the organ music and the choir and then left to walk around a bit. Daniel got to break out the German - way to go D. I think I actually took the video because the church bells were so pretty, but the little German waiter isn't bad either!

A garden where part of the Sound of Music was filmed - recognize the statues in green, pink and blue?
here mom, this one's for you . . . chubby dimples instead of knuckels
I believe the word is "chillaxin'" - a cross between "chilling" and "relaxing" - whatever the word - she seems to be accomplishing it!
The Quai along the river Salz with the castle in the background . . .
Looking at the horses
having some lunch in the old part of the city. It was super hot and sunny - just about perfect!
a crowded pedestrian street with lots of great shopping
